The Rudd Government’s Minister for Transport, Anthony Albanese, is taking the glory for the Labor party regarding the launch of V Australia’s services to from Sydney to Los Angeles this Friday, and Delta Air Lines operations debuting in early July.

'The entry of new airlines on the Trans-Pacific route is evidence that the Rudd Labor Government’s policies aimed at achieving greater competition in the Ausralia-United States aviation market are achieving their aims, and providing significant benefits for Australians at all levels,' Albanese said.
